Master in Nondestructive Testing: NDT plays a key role in ensuring product quality at competetive prices, in guaranteeing safety of production processes, but also in warranting sustainability and saving of resources. Fraunhofer IZFP Dresden cooperates with the Fraunhofer Academy and the Dresden International University. Applications are welcome for a scholarship for the course M.Sc. in Nondestructive Evaluation.

Innovation Prize IT 2011

for a consortium led by GigaTag GmbH Munich, Fraunhofer IZFP Dresden and Fraunhofer FEP are partners. Topic of the project is a novel approach to verifying sterilisation of packagings, especially for food and medical products.

The joint »MICROSCOPY INNOVATION CENTER DRESDEN« of Fraunhofer IZFP-D and Carl Zeiss NTS is a major player in developing, testing and industrial application of new, extremely high-resolution microscopical techniques. On 19 April 2010 it was awarded as place in the Land of Ideas.
